Dylan Ault Wins in HustleFuel Performance Debut at Phoenix

HustleFuel Performance could not have asked for a better first impression from Dylan Ault.

In his debut race with HustleFuel Performance in the HMSTV Series, Ault drove the No. 6 HustleFuel Performance car to victory at Phoenix Raceway, leading a race-high 88 laps and setting the fastest lap of the night. Ault, an iRacing Coca-Cola Series driver, showed exactly why he was brought into the program, combining raw pace, race control, and late-race execution to deliver a statement win.

The final results make it look like Ault had a perfect night from start to finish, but the race was not nearly that simple.

Ault started from the pole and controlled the opening stage, leading the first 44 laps while setting the tone early. The No. 6 looked like the class of the field, especially on clean air and short-run speed. However, HustleFuel’s night took a major strategic turn before the end of the opening stage. Due to early fuel strategy issues, Ault was forced to pit before the stage ended on lap 48, temporarily giving up control of the race.

That early stop shuffled the No. 6 back into traffic and opened the door for other contenders. Jonathan W Evans took command for a long stretch in the middle of the race, while Maverick Davis and others cycled into contention through pit strategy and caution timing.

Still, Ault never looked rattled. Once the race settled back into a rhythm, he worked his way back toward the front and eventually reclaimed the lead on lap 111. From there, the No. 6 became the car to beat again. Even through multiple late cautions and restarts, Ault held firm and closed out the race with another dominant run, leading the final 26 laps to secure the win.

For HustleFuel Performance, the victory was the highlight of a strong but chaotic team night.

Austin Hobert in the No. 88 had one of the fastest HustleFuel cars early in the race and spent much of the opening portion inside the top five. His final result of 14th does not really show the pace he had. Hobert’s race changed dramatically on lap 104 when he got spun, costing him track position at one of the worst possible times. Before that, the No. 88 had shown clear top-10 speed and looked capable of being a major factor in the finish.

Apoasi Karrine in the No. 47 also had an up-and-down night. After running solidly early, the No. 47 fell deep in the field during the middle portion of the race before recovering to finish 13th. It was not a clean race, but it was a solid recovery drive after being buried in traffic.

Dennis Orf in the No. 89 put together one of the better comeback efforts for the team. Starting 31st, Orf steadily worked forward and finished 15th, gaining 16 positions by the checkered flag. The No. 89 did not have the same outright speed as Ault or Hobert, but the race was a solid example of survival, patience, and taking advantage of the chaos around him.

At the end of 156 laps, HustleFuel Performance left Phoenix with a win, four cars inside the top 15, and plenty to build on. The No. 6 proved it could dominate and win. The No. 88 showed stronger pace than the finishing position suggests. The No. 47 and No. 89 both recovered from difficult race situations to bring home respectable finishes.

The story of the night, though, was Dylan Ault.

In his first HMSTV Series start for HustleFuel Performance, he did not just win. He overcame a fuel strategy setback, took the race back under control, and delivered a debut performance that immediately put the team on the map.

For HustleFuel Performance, Phoenix was more than just a race win. It was a statement.
